Hi, I am Aykut Adala
-and I am an Industrial Product Designer who studyed in MSc Integrated Product Design in Brunel University London. Before that, I graduated from Istanbul Technical University, with first place of department in 2019. I took part in many projects and participated in many workshops both during my education and after school.
Design is a passion for me so I spend most of my time dealing with design. In this way, I have experiences and certifications in many unrelated design industries, such as 3D Product Design and UX design.
My producible product design education started at the technical high school that I graduated with first place. I learned plastic technologies in there. Afterwards, I completed my knowledge and experience on future vision sustainable projects and graphic design in my university education.
I currently live in Preston.

Engaged in the development of urban products, with responsibility for concept generation, design for manufacturing, and production detailing across multiple material and process types, including injection molding and rotational molding.
Supplier & Cross-Department Collaboration
Direct collaboration with suppliers on the production of prototypes, and final parts. Coordination with the Quality Department to ensure product compliance and performance standards, and support provided to the Purchasing Department on supplier-related tasks and component sourcing.
Design for ManufacturingEvaluation of suitable manufacturing methods for plastic components, followed by the creation of accurate 3D CAD models and technical documentation tailored to the chosen production process. Knowledge of draft angles, wall thickness optimization, and tooling constraints applied to deliver cost-effective and high-quality outcomes.

Involved in the concept design, preparation of the design for production, finalization and project management stages of more than 50 furniture design products.

New Product Developement
In response to design briefs, I create concept product designs, initially sketched by hand following benchmark analysis. Leveraging my proficiency in 3D modeling, I transfer ideas from ideation sketches to Solidworks, utilizing multiple axes for ideation sketching on a platform that enables three dimensional concept development. This approach allows for the creation of 'Holistic' products, designed by considering multiple facets.
Visualization
I led the visualization team, consisting of four members, overseeing task assignments, tracking progress, providing feedback on trial visuals for alignment with corporate identity, and obtaining approvals for final visuals.

Junior Product Designer
Produced stand designs and manufacturing files tailored to the corporate identities of diverse companies, ensuring alignment with their unique brand aesthetics.
Design For Production
With over 11 years of Solidworks 3D modeling expertise, I have proficiently generated dimensioned technical drawings for production. Additionally, I have prepared output files in DXF or DWG formats, directly facilitating the implementation of 2D details found in the design for seamless transmission to manufacturing.
Concept Design
Conducted research on the target user group for a provided concept, identifying potential core values. By delving into both user needs and the context in which the product would be positioned, I designed a user experience that allows users to access services with minimal steps. For instance, determining the probable height at which the product would be positioned led to the decision to incline the screen for optimal user interaction.

I designed a web site demo. I Learned and experienced the UX design methods. Also I organized a data collection phase to develop a web site UX design. At end of the UX design process I created UI part of this web site. In a differend department IOT related product development and prototyping were experienced.
